The Legacy Of KAOS, KAOS Inc.

The Style Writing crew KAOS Inc. was founded in 1982 in the Bronx New York. In 2004 founding member Web One relocated to Atlanta. Since then, Web has recruited a talented and stylistically diverse group of artists into the ranks. The Legacy of KAOS exhibition tells the story of the history of the crew, from its roots in New York City and its journey in the city of Atlanta. On display are works from members of KAOS ranging from freight train writers, graphic designers, Style purists to fine artists.    

Krush Art On Subways (KAOS) was formed in 1982 in the Bronx New York City. In 1983, the leadership torch was passed to Web One, a talented artist from Brooklyn whose career was just beginning to take off on the subways.  From that point to the final days of classical New York City subway graffiti Web demonstrated an incredible mastery of style. He is considered by many to be a Style Master and has inspired generations of writers around the globe. In 2004 Web moved to Atlanta Georgia and planted the KAOS flag.  Over the last 20+ years the KAOS crew has become one of the most important style crews in the city of Atlanta. Today, the members of KAOS include a diverse range of artists from freight train writers, style purist to fine artists.
