No Words. No vocals. Just raw, unfiltered musical conversations.
On September 13, Eyedrum hosts a special Veterans of No Words ATL edition—an all-instrumental night of duos pairing some of Atlanta’s most adventurous players. Expect unexpected chemistry, fearless improvisation, and sounds that can’t be confined to a single genre.
From guitar and trumpet dialogues to cello and banjo experiments, from pounding drums to textured electronics, each set is its own sonic world created in real time by two artists pushing each other into new territory.
Featuring:
Sir Bucket (drums) + Mystery Player
FLAP w/ Matt Miller (guitar) ↔ Andy Hopkins (guitar)
Bill Taft (guitar & trumpet) + Mystery Player
Ann Delay (guitar & keys) ↔ Aileen Loy (all sounds)
Snare Jordan (drums) ↔ TJ Merritt (bass)
Brian Halloran (cello) ↔ Frank Schultz (banjo, lap steel)
Chris Cook (strings & things) ↔ Ryder Siegle (percussion)
Bring your ears, an open mind, and let the music do the talking.
