Kirkwood Ballers Club Dark Spring edition begins with a bold piece of performance art, then drifts into waves of ambient decay, improvised trumpet-and-daxophone duets, and minimalist percussion. A lo-fi quadraphonic sound installation gives way to a cathartic free-noise set — ending in a hypnotic industrial performance from Berlin duo Slow Slow Loris.
