Playytime takes over eyedrum art & music gallery on Saturday, December 6 for DEAD MAN SHOW – a full-throttle night of heavy music and strange joy. Atlanta’s own Playytime headline with bruising hardcore that collides rap, punk, shoegaze, noise and post-punk into one chaotic set. They’re joined by Atlanta rapper/producer Tony Velour, whose shape-shifting catalog spans electronic and left-field hip hop and includes collaborations with Dylan Brady (100 gecs) and Injury Reserve. Birmingham guitarist and songwriter Jahnah Camille (Winspear) brings songs from her new EP My sunny oath!, a guitar-forward, emotionally raw collection powered by sharp storytelling about fresh adulthood and self-acceptance. Local heavies Cheerleader and Powers That Be round out the bill, keeping the energy high from first note to last in true all-ages chaos.
